Disposable ecigs do NOT save money

I have discovered that one time use "disposable ecigs" range in cost from $7.99 to $12.99 and say they have a life of approximately 2 packs of cigarettes. I don't know what they are smoking? These products have lasted anywhere from a few puffs to about 200 puffs. About twice the cost of smoking name brand tobacco cigarettes in California

    1. The disposable e-cigs, at brick and mortar stores, shelf life varies before the customer buys it. Disposable ecigarettes are not rechargeable, so when the battery dies - the cartomizer is useless. I was a two pack a day smoker of basic full flavor, I need my nicotine to quit without major withdrawal - that being said, I have experienced both long life (about two packs worth) and very short life (about 1/2 hour and it was dead) disposables of the same brand from the same store only days apart. I tried to return the short life one and was told it was used. I was sucking the hell out of it trying to get it to work! I was pissed I spent 8 bucks for a half hour of nicotine. After that experience I started to research all electronic smoking products and decided to start smoking.biz to bring this research to everyday customers. Starter kits and refills are the way to go! However, even those have had dud's on the cartomizer side.

    1. Congratulations Jerry! I have been tobacco free using ecigs for three months now and love it! The disposables are hit and miss and one time use. Buying a kit with rechargeable batteries and disposable cartomizer's and or vaping is the way to go. Don't get me wrong... Disposables are the only way to get many smokers to try an ecig and that's what I did. I just could not see wasting money on items that sit on a shelf allowing the batteries do run down and/or the e-juice to evaporate before purchase. I get mine online direct from manufacturers. Happy smoke free life any ecig is better than old fashion tobacco smoking with tar and odor ;~)

  10. Disposable electronic cigarettes are good for checking the quality of the brand, you can switch to another if not satisfied with the results and you won't loose that much money.
